Arnaldo Ulaj is a Partner with over ten years of experience as an adviser to boards of directors and senior management on executive compensation and governance-related matters. Arnaldo advises clients across a range of industries, both publicly-traded and privately held, including Fortune 500 companies. Arnaldo has extensive experience in all areas of executive and board of director compensation, including designing incentive plans that support the company’s short- and long-term strategic vision, aligning pay and performance outcomes, and driving long-term shareholder value creation. Arnaldo is also experienced in navigating complex compensation related matters during various types of transactions (e.g., M&A, IPO, SPAC).

Arnaldo has authored numerous articles on executive and board of director compensation and incentive design that have been featured by Agenda, Bloomberg, and Directors and Boards and has been featured as a speaker on industry panels.

Prior to joining ClearBridge, Arnaldo worked for FW Cook and prior to that he worked for Merrill Lynch – Wealth Management where he held his Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. Arnaldo received a B.S. in Finance from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University.

When not in the office, Arnaldo enjoys playing basketball at Equinox, or continuing his quest to find a better steakhouse than 4 Charles Prime Rib (so far to no avail).
